New Earth Youth Initiative

Youth Initiative

At the Eckhart Tolle Foundation, we are moved by the challenges faced by many young people today. We see a generation grappling with depression, anxiety, a sense of disconnection, and a yearning for purpose. Eckhart Tolle’s teachings offer a beacon of hope in this storm.

Empowering Young Minds: Free Programs for Presence, Growth, and Connection

The New Earth Youth Initiative brings Eckhart’s teachings to young people aged 18-30 through free access to specially designed online learning programs along with scholarships to Eckhart Tolle in-person events and retreats.

In these learning environments, Eckhart addresses the concerns of youth about how to skillfully interact with technology and social media, how to cope with anxiety and uncertainty, and how to navigate challenges in relationships with friends and family, and more.

Young people are our future. By nurturing their capacities for living with Presence and inner strength, we contribute to building a more compassionate and conscious world; we help build “a new earth.”

Are you a young person seeking a path to inner peace and purpose? We invite you to explore the New Earth Youth Initiative.
Are you an educator supporting young students? Learn how our programs can benefit your Community.

Enjoy these video insights from retreat scholarship participants:

“One of my insights was that Eckhart said a lot of suffering is caused by unconsciousness.”
-Jacoby Bryant
“It was a great reminder of how much our mind causes our suffering.”

-Sophie Novak (Alumni)

“Not having self awareness means you think the root of the problem is others.”

At the Eckhart Tolle Foundation, we are moved by the challenges faced by many young people today. We see a generation grappling with depression, anxiety, a sense of disconnection, and a yearning for purpose.

Eckhart Tolle’s teachings offer a beacon of hope in this storm. And interestingly many young people have a natural affinity for Eckhart’s teachings.

Prison Outreach Initiative

Prison Initiative

Our Prison Outreach Initiative provides incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals with access to Eckhart Tolle’s transformative teachings to foster personal growth, healing, and rehabilitation. These teachings help address the cycles of suffering caused by cultural and societal conditioning and systemic issues, which reflect the collective dysfunction of the egoic mind.

The U.S. incarceration system often lacks adequate rehabilitation and support programs, leading to recidivism rates exceeding 50%. Overcrowding, mental health challenges, limited educational opportunities, economic barriers, and racial discrimination further complicate this landscape. Supporting both incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals is essential for true rehabilitation.

The Prison Outreach Initiative provides books and digital content and facilitates in-person visits with Eckhart. This promotes a culture of presence and transformational learning within correctional facilities and beyond. Additionally, we support organizations dedicated to prison reform and rehabilitation, collaborating to enhance the impact of our efforts and broaden the support network for those in need.

In partnership with Edovo, we deliver Eckhart’s audio and video teachings to over 450,000 incarcerated individuals in more than 500 institutions nationwide. Inspired by thank you letters Eckhart has received from people in prison, our commitment is to offer tools and teachings that help these individuals break free from internal suffering and find purpose and presence.
“I read both The Power Of Now and A New Earth and I began to share it with other people that were on the prison yard.”

-Dominique Tanks

Dominique Tanks is a rising community leader and has worked with important organizations like Anti-Recidivism Coalition, Defy Ventures, Amity Foundation, The Last Mile and many others. He hopes to empower and transform the lives of others through his own personal growth and continual self- development.
I read both The Power Of Now and A New Earth and I began to share it with other people that were on the prison yard. A good friend of mine loved the book so much that he began to incorporate the things he learned in the self-help groups we were doing inside the prison.

Hospice & Elderly Outreach Initiative

Hospice & Elderly Initiative

Our Hospice & Elderly Outreach Initiative provides patients, caregivers, and families with access to Eckhart’s teachings as a source of comfort, peace, and support during the end-of-life journey.

We partner with organizations that serve the elderly, along with hospices and palliative care organizations across the US to provide access to Eckhart’s books and audiobooks, and other resources tailored to address end-of-life concerns and and dying process. Our aim is to support individuals to find inner peace and acceptance during this potent time of surrender, easing the way for patients, caregivers, and families.

In collaboration with Regional Hospice we are planning for Eckhart to visit with hospice patients and their caregivers in 2025. Eckhart will
provide tailored spiritual guidance to this community, and filmed sessions will be shared with a national audience.
